  • Where does Florexpo export its cuttings to?
    • Florexpo exports its cuttings all over the world, with most of our customers located in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan. 

  • How can I buy Florexpo’s URC in the US and Canada?
    • Florexpo’s cuttings are available through three leading brokers: Ball Horticultural Company, Mc Hutchison and Fred C. Gloeckner.

  • How can I buy Florexpo’s URC in Europe?
    • In Europe, Florexpo sells directly via its Florexpo Europe sales office in Madrid, Spain.   

  • What is the minimum order?
    • The minimum order is one box, with no fewer than one hundred cuttings of one variety. 

  • What is the cancellations policy?
    • Cancellations must be received in our office no later than one week prior to the requested ship date. 

  • What is the claim and credit policy?
    • All claims, credits or adjustments, must be made to broker in writing within two business days of receipt of the cuttings.

  • How are the cuttings shipped to the US and Canada?
    • We provide a 48 hours door-to-door service in partnership with FedEx. In some cases, such as rural areas of Canada, delivery times may be longer, at up to 72 hours. 

  • How are the cuttings shipped to Europe?
    • We provide a door-to-door service via Iberia, with customs clearance in Madrid and European domestic deliveries undertaken in partnership with DHL. 

  • What is the delivery time?
    • Our standard delivery time is 48 hours from Florexpo to your door.

  • If I have a technical question, who can I contact?
    • Contact your sales representative at our partner brokers or one of our staff directly. Contact details are found in the ‘Customer Support’ section.

  • What is the different packing material?
    • Depending on the post-harvest performance of the crops, we choose packaging from the following options:
      •    Standard plastic packaging.
      •    Wet mesh packaging to prevent dehydration.
      •    Newspaper to prevent ethylene from coming into contact with the cuttings. 

  • Can I order a custom-cut cutting?
    • Yes, you just need to ask your sales representative for the specific specification you would like when making your order.

  • How is a new variety added to the Florexpo Program?
    • In general, we continually evaluate and trial new varieties, which we select based on market demand, garden performance, regional needs and national programs.
      Thereafter, we:
      •    Find a good source.
      •    Import the plants.
      •    Test for cleanliness.
      •    Bloom out to prove the variety shipped is true to form.
      •    Trial growing.
      •    Trial shipping.
      •    Commercialize the variety in our production program.

  • What is the Confirmations Policy?
    • Our confirmations policy consist of a quick response via email within 24 hours of receipt of the order.
